Log your hours

Use My hours for work that isn’t already recorded by an attended shift. Don’t log a rota shift a second time.

  1. Select Log hours.
  2. Choose the date and describe the activity.
  3. Enter either start and finish times with a break in minutes, or the total hours.
  4. Choose a role if the form asks for it, then save.
  5. Check that the entry appears in your list.

Totals are entered in 15-minute increments. For example, 1 hour 30 minutes is 1.5 hours, not 1.30. A submitted entry cannot finish in the future. Dates and times are interpreted in UK time, even if your device is elsewhere.

The status shows whether an entry has been submitted, approved, queried, rejected, paid or withdrawn. Read any review note. Use the available correction or withdrawal action, or contact your approver if the record has moved beyond the stage you can change.

Approvers can correct an entry before it is paid. If you disagree with a change, ask them to review it rather than adding a duplicate entry.

Only people configured as Hourly receive an hourly pay amount. Salaried and unpaid people’s hours are still recorded. A missing amount may also be due to the rate or Pay from date, so ask your coordinator to check those settings.

The app tracks approval and recorded payment. It does not transfer money to your bank account.
