Book and check your shifts
Open My shifts to see your work and available places. Your organisation may use a different word for a shift.
- Open a shift and read its date, start and finish times, location and role.
- Check whether you can book it, request a place or need a coordinator to assign you.
- Use the available action and check the resulting status.
Booked confirms a place. A request or waiting-list entry is not a confirmed booking. If you cannot book, the app should explain why. It may be a clash, leave, no remaining places, a role requirement or your organisation’s booking rules.
Cancel a booking
Section titled “Cancel a booking”Open the booking and use its cancellation action. Add a reason where useful. Tell your coordinator directly if a late change affects today’s cover, following your organisation’s policy. Cancellation alerts do not replace that arrangement.
At the venue
Section titled “At the venue”If your organisation uses the kiosk, open its check-in screen at the venue and follow the instructions. Check-in normally opens shortly before the shift, according to the organisation’s setting. Hourly-paid staff may need a four-digit PIN, set on their Profile.
Check out as instructed. If a time is wrong or you forgot to check out, tell a coordinator so the attendance record can be corrected.
Calendar subscription
Section titled “Calendar subscription”If the calendar-feed feature is enabled, use the calendar subscription offered in the app. Keep its link private. Your calendar provider controls how quickly subscribed events refresh, so check the app for the latest booking information.
Times are UK local time. A shift such as 22:00 to 06:00 ends the following morning.
